Working groups

We present the 4 working groups that will develop the 5 points of the Metropolitan Charter of Electromobility.

About

The 4 working groups are made up of people specialized in various sectors who have the task of developing the 5 fundamental points of the Metropolitan Charter of Electromobility

What they deal with

Each group will develop one or more points of the Charter, studying and planning a system to increase, disseminate and encourage the use of electric vehicles with 0 impact for companies, municipalities and individuals, expanding the activities of sharing.

Goal

To spread the awareness that electricity and sharing are valid and safe alternatives for all trips in the city and beyond. All members should commit themselves to gradually implement the indications and actions included in the Charter, in order to promote increasingly sustainable mobility.

Group 1

Develop Step 1

It will be engaged in the deepening of the “first point” of the Charter (“Offering the consumer valid motivations for cultural change”) is coordinated by CEI-CIVES, in collaboration with ADICONSUM. The city that supports the coordinators is Florence.

Group 2

Develop steps 2 and 3

It will focus on the “second and third points” of the Charter (“Accelerating the development of a recharge network accessible to the public” and “Expanding the possibility of recharging in residential and corporate buildings”) is coordinated by RSE – Ricerca sul sistema Energetico S.p.A. The city that supports the coordinator is Milan.

Group 3

Develop steps 4 and 5

It will develop the “fourth and fifth” point of the Charter (“Give a strong impetus to car sharing with electric vehicles” and “Stimulate the introduction of electric vehicles in mobility segments with greater effectiveness and practicability: corporate fleets and public bodies”) is coordinated by AMAT-Milan. The city that supports the coordinator is Turin.

Group 4

Develop step 5

It will deal with all the issues concerning soft electric mobility (pedal-assisted bicycles – regulation of electric vehicles for pedestrians, scooters and electric motorcycles and related sharing, as well as nautical and agricultural mobility) is coordinated by the Municipalities of Bologna and Varese.

The methodology and work objectives

Sharing among the participants of the activities already carried out by the municipalities invited to join the Metropolitan Electromobility Charter, responses and applications received, sharing of documentation received.
Request for appointment of one or more participants in the working groups to the subscribers, to the members of the promoting committee, to the scientific committee, to the Emob2018 operators (27-28-29 September). The choice is free and non-binding: different representatives can be indicated for each single group, or one for each group, vice versa a representative for all the working groups. The participation in the working groups must be understood as an opportunity to build a network and a shared path.

Realizzazione di un contenitore Web per la centralizzazione di documenti aperti ai partecipanti, utile per le discussioni telematiche con i comuni aderenti, volto alla definizione delle linee guida e determinazioni approvate dagli stakeholder di E-mob.

Publication of the guidelines of the Metropolitan Charter, subdivided into the four working groups provided for and elaboration of the facsimiles of determination / deliberations / acts of the Council / acts of the City Council, to be shared with all local administrations, related to electric mobility.
Sending to municipalities a special questionnaire aimed at understanding what mobility actions have been taken in recent years.
Initial examination and validation by the scheme of activities proposed here, to be intended as a dynamic scheme open to additions and insights also during the course of work.
Creationand management of an electrical mobility database, i.e. of those “suppliers” able to satisfy the indications contained in the metropolitan map and in the documents elaborated by the working groups.
Awareness-raising campaigns for the bodies responsible for legislative action (regional and national).
Elaboration of the answers obtained from the questionnaire administered.
Definition of how the work is to be carried out: limited number of physical meetings, computer links (Skype, Webinair, FreeConferenceCall, other).
Illustration of the work done in the roadshows scheduled until September 2018 and organization of the plenary meeting of each working group on 27/28 September and approval of the summary of the decisions taken in the general plenary meeting of 29 September.
